Make Your Year-End, Tax-Deductible Contribution to Preservation Rocky Mount

Preservation Rocky Mount

2025 is almost here!

Hello Reader,

We want to start by apologizing for not reaching out to you more often these last few months. We've been hard at work behind the scenes on moving our Architectural Salvage Store.

Our longtime members of Preservation Rocky Mount know that we have been operating our store at 910 Falls Road for the past 18 years. The location is owned by Rocky Mount Mills Village, and the time has come for them to launch their next phase in the revitalization of the mills area. Always with an eye on our history, we are moving to another area of Rocky Mount that needs more attention and preservation of its historic architecture: South Rocky Mount.

The new store will be at 1131 South Church Street. If you are local to Rocky Mount, it is very close to Best Rentals. Built in 1939, it is a small commercial building that we hope will once again become part of a vibrant commercial district in South Rocky Mount. While we are moving, we have closed our store at Falls Road and are no longer taking appointments. We anticipate completing the move sometime around the end of January. You’ll be the first to know when we are ready. This new store has been a labor of love, and we can't wait to share it with you.

As we look to 2025, we need your help to continue this important work. Your support allows us to grow our programs, save history from landfills, and preserve the art in our surroundings for generations to enjoy. By renewing your membership today, you'll play a critical role in helping us build a culture of preservation in Rocky Mount, NC.

Please consider making your tax-deductible gift before the end of the year. Together, we can stop our history from being erased, and create a profound sense of place for every citizen of Rocky Mount, now and in the future.

Thank you for your continued support and for being a vital part of our community.

Sincerely,

Your Friends at PRM
